A story about legendary creatures from Chinese mythology. The main characters are mythical foxes in human shape living in exile in the mountains.
Storyline
Based on the “six story” in Strange Tales from Liaozhai: The creator of the universe, Nuwa, has four mythological animals (Phoenix, Kirin, Dragon and The Nine Tailed Fox). During the turbulent times of the Western Zhou Period, Nuwa sends the Nine Tailed Fox to the human world to make peace. The fox fails and is exiled for 500 years as punishment.
