Guerrilla Hero

Storyline

Winter of 1939, the Japanese army has entered Bashan county. The Kuomintang army have been ordered to hold the Japanese forces back while other troups are evacuated. A village girl, Wu Xichun, is almost raped by the Japanese soldiers, but is saved by commander Li Changpeng. The county is almost overrun by the Japanese army, but Wu Xichun calls in the local guerrilla forces who manages to save Li and Wu. The guerilla warriors’ captain sacrifices himself to save Wu Xichun’s family and for revenge, Wu Xichun joins the fight against the Japanese.
