The Eagle Corps

Storyline

The fall of 1941, Japanese troups are expanding their presence in China. A band of guerrilla warriors, lead by Ye Shanying, are fighting for the communist army in the Mingshan region. A relative of Ye Shanying is murdered by the Japanese troups so sheenters the battlefield to ward off the invaders. The communist army disagrees with her actions, but she manages to rescue some prisoners of war and believes her actions are justified. Her reckless behavior is not accepted among her comrades, but with time she matures and becomes calm and decisive.
