About

With our many years of experience in the film industry, we know how important the supporting staff is to the success and quality of a film. An efficient filming team can make all the necessary preparations and solve unforseen problems on the go. A good supporting staff can prevent delays and  mishaps, so the main staff can focus on getting the right shots for the film.

Our film workshops are designed specifically for the common supporting staff in the Chinese film industry. While most workshops focus on writers, directors, camera, etc. our programs are made for the supporting staff who are often overlooked.

ENROLLMENT

If you are a company planning to hire inexperienced supporting staff or if you are an individual considering entering the film industry, our workshop will serve as your guide. Our workshop will walk you through all the steps of filmmaking and put you on site of a real film production in China. This way, you will know what you get into once you start working there.

STUDIES

For a duration of two weeks, you will learn about all the basics of filmmaking from scriptwriting to cinematography and everything in-between. The focus is on acquainting you with the concepts behind filmmaking, so you will understand your own role in the filmmaking process.

The focus of the workshop is to teach you how films are made, how to optimize your time and what obstacles you may face in the process. This is the foundational knowledge everyone in the film industry should possess and can usually only be acquired through own experience.

GUEST LECTURERS

Making films can be difficult and many factors can affect the cost, time and outcome of the film, therefore, most processes of filmmaking turn out different. Real experience is perhaps the most valuable asset for good filmmakers and therefore we will invite foreign guest lecturers from the film industry to share their experiences and advice.

INTERNSHIP

In the end of the workshop, we will bring our students to a real filming site for a one-week internship during which the students experience filmmaking firsthand. This is a good chance to get experience before working and you will get to meet people you may work with in the future.

CERTIFICATE

We will award our participants with an official certificate proving that the attendee has completed all courses and experienced an internship. We work with high-level government filming institutes who recognize and appreciate our certificates.
