Storyline

After the Open Door Policy (1979) Lu Yongfu is born in a high-ranking military family. He is clever, but often makes too high aims. His friend, the girl, Chen Sufen, looks weak but is a strong character. Together they experience ups and downs in the changing world. Their feelings also change over time, but they still try to achieve happiness through honest work and kindheartedness.
