Bottom Line of Man

Storyline

A successful man is trying to maintain his ”bottom line” when confronted with all kinds of pressure from work, bureaucracy and relationships. The protagonist, Wei Haifeng, is the head of the traffic investigation department in his province. His superior is on his way back from a case when he gets involved in a traffic accident which kills him. His wife is trying to get their child into a good middle school by using Haifeng’s influence, but fails. Haifeng is later promoted following his superior’s death and he slowly begins to feel his rising power.
