Storyline
China’s “One Belt, One Road” initiative launched by Xi Jinping in 2013, focuses on bringing China closer to the rest of the world and “reopening” the ancient silkroad. China plans to increase trade and cultural understanding with countries in the nearby regions reachable through land or through the sea.
