The Story of David

Storyline

During the 1970’s, three kids live together in a traditional Chinese hutong. The era is a time of great change in China where people begin to become more open-minded.

David is one of the three kids, he is a little dimwitted and stubborn. David experiences the rapid changes in China during the 70’s and 80’s, but in his own slow manner. He tries to make a living by making fried rice, but he fails miserably and has to seek his father for help.
